How to configure account in Netscape 7.02?




To setup your Netscape 7.02 to handle your new POP3 e-mail account, please follow the instruction below :-

01. Start the Netscape browser.
 
02. Click Edit >
 
03. Click Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.
 
04. Click on Add Account to add an email account.
 
05. Enter full email address in Account Name.

06. In Identity
 - Fill in Your Name, Email Address and Reply-to Address.

07. Click on Server Settings. 

 - Fill in Server Name as mail.yourdomain.com.
 - Fill in full email address in User Name.

08. Click on Outgoing Server (SMTP)
 
 - Fill in Server Name as mail.yourdomain.com.
 - Change the port from default 25 to 587

09. Click on Use name and password check box.

 - Fill in full email address in User Name.
 - Once all information is entered, click on OK button to complete setup.
