Most email errors are URL syntax errors. So, then there is error stated "Unknown User", the email address most probably was typed incorrectly. Besides, user might accidentally typed in comma or spaces in the email address as both symbols are not allowed in an email address. Sender can double confirm the correct email user with the recipient.
