When there is mail bounced back from Yahoo, it is because Yahoo had actually implemented a technology which will filter all incoming email and deferred before delivered into Yahoo email account successfully. By using this method, Yahoo can reduce a large number of spam email but on the other hand, a lot of valid email will also bounce back to sender.
As a result, a majority of sender sent email to Yahoo user will receive the auto generate error message like " Reason: Remote host said: 421 Message from ( xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ) temporarily deferred - 4.16.50 ", but after 3 or 5 times attempts, the email will be delivered successfully.
As you know this mail server is under a " shared environment ", sometime it might be busy and will only be able to auto resent the mail after a long time, hence, the email will bounced back to sender. You may try to resend the email immediately after you received your bounce back, so that Yahoo can treat your email as a valid email. Once the recipient received your email, please ask them to "mark" your email as "not spam" to avoid any bounce back in the future.
